Executive Coaching

The Need

What got you here will not take there. As you move up within the corporate hierarchy, it gets tougher to find honest, unbiased developmental feedback. That’s why executive coaching works.
The evidence is that decision-makers and influencers succeed when they have gradually built the so-called soft skills. These skills include those of influencing, of applying emotional intelligence, of being unafraid of self-reflection.

Developmental coaching responds to multiple contexts, including:
Building confidence and competence in the diverse components of your new role.
Identifying “blind-spots” that hold you back as you lead and influence others.
Investing in a confidential “sounding board” as you make tough decisions aligned to your company’s strategies?
Globally mobile and moving to a new business culture in another country.

7 things to expect of your Executive Coaching

  1. Your coaching is customised, action and results-orientated. The coaching structure is designed jointly with you and specifically for you.
  2. Your coaching is future and solution focused.
  3. The coaching is grounded in your goals and intentions, what concerns or confronts you.
  4. Your coaching sessions works mostly between the dimension of ‘ask’ and ‘how-to’. They invite you to grow in in the cognitive, behavioural and affective domains of your life.
  1. Clear coaching goals are established via the pre-coaching confidential questionnaire and the clarifying process of the first coaching session.
  2. Your coach is credentialed and invests in ongoing coaching or supervision themselves.
  3. First contracts typically outline an initial six-month series, in recognition of the developmental process involved.
